Das 1. Rennwochenende ist Geschichte und es stand die Heimreise von Hockenheim nach Berlin an. Das Rennauto war auf dem Anhänger positioniert und die Heimreise konnte beginnen. Da ich selbst leider keinen BE Führerschein besitze, fuhr das Gespann wie auch schon auf dem Hinweg ein Bekannter, der die entsprechende Fahrerlaubnis inne hat.
Da es schon recht spät war, war die Autobahn recht frei und es schien eine entspannte Fahrt nach Hause zu werden. Doch der Schein trügt und es sollte ein von Dramatik nicht zu überbietender Abend werden. Nach ca. 370 Km von den insgesamt 640 Km (kurz nach Erfurt auf der A4) schaukelte sich der Anhänger hinten auf. Dies war vorher schon einige Male passiert, konnte jedoch bereits nach dem ersten Schwenk wieder beruhigt werden. Diesmal war es jedoch anders. Das Schlingern des Anhängers wurde immer stärker und der Fahrer versuchte durch starke Bremsvorgänge den Anhänger zu stabilisieren. Leider ohne Erfolg, da der Transporter vom Anhänger hinten versetzt wurde und ein Einschlag in die Leitplanke die Folge war. Durch ein leichtes Gefälle konnten wir leider nicht viel Geschwindigkeit abbauen und sind eher schneller geworden und schlugen mit ca. 100-110 Km/h frontal in die Leitplanke ein. Es gab einen zweiten Knall und der Transporter kippte auf meine Seite, auf die Beifahrerseite. Ich sah nur noch die Funken fliegen und hatte auf einen weiteren Einschlag gewartet, der zum Glück ausblieb.
Nach ein paar Sekunden hörte ich einen Knall und wartete nur auf einen weiteren Einschlag bei uns im Fahrzeug, da wir mit dem Führerhaus entgegen der Fahrtrichtung lagen. Die ersten Helfer kamen zu unserem Transporter und baten uns, so schnell wie möglich das Auto zu verlassen. Ich nahm in dem Schockzustand noch meinen Helm mit und sprang vom Transporter und sah das Ausmaß des ganzen Chaos. Beim Transporter wurde beim Aufprall der Motor heraus gerissen, mein Rennfahrzeug stand auf seinen vier Rädern auf der Autobahn, sichtlich geknickt und der Anhänger unweit von meinem Rennauto. Daneben stand ein LKW mit Warnblinkern, neben sich ein VW eingekeilt zwischen LKW und Leitplanke.
Ich ging noch zu meinem Rennauto um die Warnblinker anzumachen um den folgenden Verkehr zu warnen. Mein Handy wurde während des Aufpralls aus dem Auto geschleudert und ich konnte zuerst niemanden erreichen. Glücklicherweise wurde mein Handy gefunden, völlig zerstört, aber es war noch an und ich konnte mit meiner Uhr meine Frau kontaktieren.
Kurz darauf trafen die Rettungskräfte ein und nach einem ersten Check war klar, die nächste Station ist ein Krankenhaus. Der Fahrer und ich wurden in die Klinik Bad Berka gebracht und wurden dort einmal komplett gecheckt. Bei mir wurden zwei gebrochene Rippen sowie eine leicht gequetschte Lunge festgestellt, der Fahrer hatte bis auf einen Schock keine körperlichen Beschwerden.
Zum Glück haben wir das ganze Drama lebend überstanden. Der Schaden muss nun natürlich ersetzt werden und es steht eine Menge Arbeit an, wieder ein rennfertiges Auto aufzubauen um die Saison weiter zu fahren. Der Fahrer entzieht sich leider jeglicher Verantwortung und lässt mich mit allem allein da stehen.
Den 2. Lauf in Zolder musste ich aus gesundheitlichen Gründen leider ausfallen lassen und werde vorerst mit einem Fahrzeug vom MSC Berlin im Juni in den Niederlanden auf dem TT Circuit Assen an den Start gehen. Ich hoffe, das ich mein Fahrzeug bis Ende Juni, spätestens jedoch bis zum Rennen am Lausitzring im August wieder mit meinem Fahrzeug fahren kann.
